Shooting More Often with .22 LR

I've noticed on my last few shooting trips to our family farm that I'd spend the first part of the day trying to find my rhythm, and by the end of the day, I was really shooting well.  The next time I went shooting, usually weeks later, the process would repeat.  I assume that if I can shoot more often, I'll gain some consistency in my performance.

The two reasons I don't shoot more often seem to be the basic reasons for anything: time and money.  Since I don't think I can do anything about job and family time commitments right now, I opted to do something about the cost of ammunition.

No, I didn't buy stock in an ammo company.  I've been saying for a while that my next gun would be a .22 caliber of some sort.  So I guess we'll find out together if $20 for a day's worth of ammo really does mean more trips to the farm.

In my next few posts, I'll be reviewing the Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22, the Sig Sauer Mosquito, and the Do All Outdoors "Hot Box" Reactive Self Healing Target.
